NSPCC Neglect Campaign

The Plymouth Safeguarding Children Board, Plymouth City Council and NSPCC are working in partnership on a multi-agency approach to encouraging early help in order to prevent neglect.

The NSPCC Helpline for adults had been tailored to support parents and the wider community with local information about services and support.   If offers an alternative form of contact to discuss child welfare issues, and get guidance, and hopes to encourage more adults to share concerns at the earliest opportunity.  Parents who are struggling are encouraged to contact the Helpline for advice and support before children are put at risk of harm.

The Helpline is available 24/7 via phone and online. People can remain anonymous if they wish. Call 0808 800 5000, text 88858 or email help@nspcc.org.uk
